Pirani Engineering (Pvt) Ltd
A modern engineering operation serving local assemblers with engines, auto parts, and precision manufacturing capabilities.
Overview
Pirani Engineering began supplying auto parts and engines to local assemblers in January 2009. Present production of motorcycle engines stands at 1,000 units per day, up from 400 to 800 previously.
More than 800 workers are employed at the Hub, Baluchistan manufacturing plant. The company focuses on quality production and international manufacturing standards.
Plant Capabilities
The plant at Hub Industrial Estate fulfills internal requirements while also supplying auto parts to other assemblers of Chinese motorcycle brands.
Pirani Engineering is certified under ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System standards and operates multiple specialized departments for advanced production.
Sheet Metal Department
The sheet metal department manufactures fuel tanks, chassis frames, front and rear fenders for motorcycles, rickshaw chassis upper show, side panels, and front show components.
Raw material sheets are imported according to international standards, and the department has more than 35 press machines ranging from 50 tons to 600 tons, along with shearing, decoiler, and straightener facilities.
Die-Casting Division
The die-casting division manufactures aluminum auto parts for engines, including crank cases, crank case covers, hubs, pitch assemblies, and levers.
The unit operates machines from 120 metric tons to 850 metric tons with a production capacity of 400,000 engines per year, helping save foreign exchange through local manufacturing.
Precision and Testing
A dedicated CNC department handles machining and testing of die-cast parts through computerized systems. X-ray machines are used to scan aluminum engine parts, making Pirani Engineering the first company in Pakistan to use this process for such applications.
Additional quality systems include CMM, digital leak testing, roughness testing, accurate dimension checks, and tool profile verification.
Shock Absorber Plant
Another plant assembles front and rear shock absorbers for both motorbikes and rickshaws, using advanced manufacturing technology suitable for two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
